Best Steakhouse in St. Louis...I know some will argue and I invite the challenge because I'm not a carnivore but I do know food. The food at Carmine's is superb! The chicken, the steak, the service, the location are all top-notch for St. Louis dining. Carmine's is underrated in my opinion and maybe that's because people are so "caught up" on major brands. Without name dropping, I'll simply say not all steakhouses live up to the fanfare. Do yourself a favor: 1. Make a reservation 2. Dress to the 9's 3. Valet park 4. Order something new 5. Have dessert 6. Thank me later

When I lived in the Midwest, I'd frequent the Lombardo family restaurants a few times a year. I would dine at the location out by the airport, and at Carmine's. The last time I dined at Carmine's was probably 7-8 years ago. I raved about this place before I met my wife, and even sold her on it. Fast forward 7-8 years, the wife and I came back here after a Cards game (maybe that was the problem?) and the restaurant looked at though it hasn't had one update in generations. I recognized some of the same entrees, and we were excited to try them again. I went with the Chicken Modelo. In the past this entrée consisted of a huge chicken breast, stuffed with cheese and prosciutto. This time around, $21 gets you a tiny slider of chicken, with a sprinkling of cheese, and 4-5 small prosciutto bits...kind of like bacon bits. The wife went with the filet, med rare. A good cut, but bland, and severely lacking in flavor. Unfortunately, Carmine's wasn't what we remembered. If I could do it all over again, I would've walked an extra block, and gone to Ruth's Chris. Disappointing.

My husband and I were driving through and decided to stay the night in St. Louis. We were tired so wanted to eat close to the hotel. Carmine's was a pleasant surprise!! We split a 10 oz filet... Yum!!! Tender, melt in your mouth!! The au gratin potatoes were very cheesy... Just the way I like them!! We did order a bottle of wine that I should have sent back. It was either stored wrong or bad year for Silver Oak. I love Silver Oak. Oh well... Overall, great dinner!!

Carmine's Steakhouse provides a reasonable Steak along with a admissible ambiance in DTSTL. After the raucous afternoon at the Rams game I decided that an agreeable meal was in order. Eschewing the Ruth Chris chain experience, I figured that Carmine's Steakhouse would offer a more uniquely "Saint Louis" feel. To be forthcoming it really feels like a Hotel Restaurant (as it is) which in and of itself is not a particularly bad thing, it is just the service was a bit stiff and forced for my liking. Also, the interior is quite dated. The menu is about as stereotypical as Steak House dining gets and all of the usual suspects in Midwestern dining are well represented. The local favorite "Toasted Ravioli" was my first order in and is came to the table at breakneck speed. Basically it is the same as any Ravioli, just twice the size and Breaded and deep fried. Considering the great hype surround the dish i was honestly underwhelmed. It basically tasted like an amalgamation of Ground Beef, grease and Marinara with a bit of crunchy mouth feel mixed in. Ho hum at best but I came for steak, so it was not a deal killer at that point. As for the Steak, Carmine's does put out a very solid 21 day aged Bone-In Ribeye when they get the temperature right. On the kitchen's first attempt my Steak came to the table still eating the salad. After returning it to the kitchen (I loathe doing this), a perfectly marbled 20 ounce piece of charred delight came to my table seared to order (medium rare) along with Steak Butter on their second try. Returning meat to a kitchen in a Steakhouse always irks me, but at least they erred to the side of caution. As I side I ordered the Twice Baked Potato which was rather uninspired and boring thanks too being under-seasoned. In closing, Carmine's Steakhouse is probably a pass for future visits if and when I get back to Saint Louis as there are several other Chop Houses in the area that deserve a fair shake before a return trip. 2 stars and moving on.

We decided to go here because of restaurant week and because we eat at a certain other steakhouse often. The ambiance was great and the staff was eager to please. I brought my kids and the staff was great at keeping them happy. They gave them their drinks. When my husband was cutting my daughter's food, the manager took it to the back to have them cut it. I ordered the gorgonzola chicken and my husband had the ribeye. He liked his food. My scallops for the appetizer were delectable. Mine was ok, the sauce on the chicken was too sweet, but the gorgonzola was excellent and carried the meal. The potatoes were just ok. In all fairness, my go-to meal is a filet mignon, so I'm willing to go back and try a filet and maybe my rating will change. I'm willing to do so because the service was OUTSTANDING!

Although the decor looks a bit run down, the food was terrific. I had the 8oz fillet and it was delicious. Service was professional.

I always make a point of going to Carmines when I'm in St. Louis. Fantastic steaks as well as seafood with excellent service and friendly staff.

I asked for the grilled veggies in my pasta, and they were not grilled. My Fiance ordered his steak medium and it was actually rare in most spots. The meal was almost $100 and it was not worth it. The bread was cold and served with ice cold butter. The bread would actually rip when we tried to butter it. He did enjoy the flavor of the steak but it was very under done. We were one of the only couples there, and the wait staff was standing around and staring at us. Granted, it was slow and not much going on, so I'm sure it was not intentional. It was still uncomfortable nonetheless. We were only in St. Louis for a few days and very excited for this dinner. It was definitely disappointing.

We just left for restaurant week. Neither of us have ever been. The food was amazing and for such an amazing deal. Honestly, if it would have been for downtown restaurant week I would have never go. I honestly can't wait to come back. I order the Chicken Gorgonzola , very good!! My friend ordered the ribeye, and it was huge! I am not sure if I have ever tried a ribeye before, not a real big red meat eater. My friend gave me some, OH MY, that was delicious. The flavor was amazing! The chocolate moose we both wanted to order another one! We had a great time and can't wait to come back! The only reason why it is getting 4/5 stars is because the service was ok. Server seemed pushing and in a hurry. She was the only server on the patio so I know she was busy. It was beautiful outside I would have had two servers out there.

The scallops, rack of lamb, and the risotto were all amazing. Strong drinks while watching my Cubs beat the cardinals were a definite plus. But most importantly, the bartender Corey was tremendous. She called everyone at the bar by name, which was about 10 people at the time. She pours a great drink. And she provides great company, which is always nice when in town for business. This place is within walking distance from most hotels downtown, and is a definite must if you don't mind spending the extra money, or your company's :)

Ate here July 8 and was not impressed. There were at most 4 tables besides my own in the restaurant and the service was extremely slow. I had the New York strip with risotto and bearnaise. The risotto looked fine and tasted alright. The steak came out on a plate that had juices all over and large bits of parsley scattered all around as a lazy attempt at a garnish. The server didn't bring the sauce out and said that he forgot it in the window and as soon as he said that I knew it would be totally broken and to no surprise it was. The meal tasted okay but it was definitely not worth it. I will most likely not be returning to Carmine's

Fried shrimp, manhattan and a really nice server. Open late and filled with people just chatting, eating and drinking until the wee hours.

Horrible experience with my over-cooked steak and even after sending it back it came back way under cooked. I will not being coming back!

I finally got to check out Carmine's Steakhouse to celebrate a friend's birthday, but can't say I was impressed. This pricey little joint is located in a cool looking architectural gem, with somewhat dated décor on the inside and food that didn't impress. On a busy Wednesday night, it started with confusion on who are waiter actual was. After an introduction with one waiter, we were passed off to another in a bit of chaos. Once our order was in and I was able to take a sip of my wine, I noticed how dirty my glass was. It wasn't just a smudge of lipstick on the rim, it was fully crustified all over. Not a good way to start the meal. For an appetizer, I went with the crab meat cocktail served over horseradish cream cheese mousse and a touch of sweet chili sauce. This could have been a 5 star dish if it wasn't for the overly fishy tasting crab meat. I also had to pick out a few bits of shell that I crunched on. For my main course, I chose the 14 oz. New York Strip with a baked potato and side of grilled onions. I ordered it medium and it came out perfect. Topped with a butter garlic sauce, it was tender, juicy, and flavorful. The sautéed onions were a bit undercooked to my liking and still had a slight crunch to them. Overall, I must say that I expect better. I just can't see myself coming back here unless I'm invited for a special occasion.

Excellent halibut special, risotto & house salad. Great service. Relatively quiet/slow probably because of the St. Louis Cardinals game tonight. Far better value & quality than the much more expensive steakhouse nearby.

Great place in the heart of downtown Saint Louis, right near the Arch. Although known for their steaks, I got the port chops, which were moist, juicy, and super delicious. There was two chops, and they were large. Yum! The staff was friendly, and our waiter was attentive. Parking downtown was a bit of a bear, but what I didn't realize is they have a few parking spaces right next to the restaurant. I'll be back!

Carmine's is first class all the way. Their filet mignon is by far my favorite in St. Louis. I try to eat here before or after I see a Cardinals baseball game...they offer valet parking, and with it being so close to the stadium, it works out perfectly for a dinner. They serve the famous Lombardo's toasted ravioli (the Lombardo family really knows how to do the restaurant biz!) and that should be a staple for anyone who goes here. They have mastered their own Caesar dressing and their steaks are cooked to perfection.

This was my favorite spot in St Louis. It tries to be gourmet, but without the pretentiousness and exorbitant prices. Hell, blue moon beer is only $3.90 and martinis are under $10! Anyway, I had the oyster romonaff(twice) and the Filet Gorgonzola. The oysters are absolutely amazing! They add a touch of cream and some caviar, a preparation I'd never tried before. The filet was cooked to perfection and they added a heaping pile of Gorgonzola. My only gripe was with the sweet potato side because it was a bit too sweet. In short, it's a great spot to have a great meal and some drinks if you're not on a fast food budget, but also don't want to spend $200 on a dinner for two.

First time vist during Downtown Restaurant Week. Amazing!!! My starter was the lobster bites...small portion but incredibly tasty. Main course was the ribeye....ordered it rare and got a true rare! Yay! Very simple on the seasoning which I prefer as I love the taste of red meat. The side oredr of mushroom shallot risotto was TO DIE FOR! It was a huge portion and I ate it all. Best I've had. 3 course-meal was finished with some amazing cheesecake. Simple, with no topping but rich and smooth. I probably could never afford to really check this place out except during DRW. Our server in the bar area was very good and attentive. Great experience.

Not bad, but not the best steak or steakhouse experience we've had, by far. Slow, disinterested service, too. This place seems to be resting on its laurels from the faded glory of years gone by. Ruth's Chris is only a block away...that's where we'll go next time we're in town.

Went here with customer before baseball game. Weather was perfect so we say on the patio out front. Started with toasted ravioli which are dynamite. They are huge pillows of fried and seasoned dough with about a meatball sized filling. Decent deletion of craft brews from the area including Crown Valley an UCBC. I had the 20oz ribeye and others had the Gorgonzola encrusted filet special. Both were very good.

It was ok at best. Service was fine although the place was almost empty on a Saturday night. So why do the seat a family of 5 next to a couple who are out on a birthday date night? ? Killed the evening for me.

Service was not that great. Had to ask for things mult times vs them asking proactive. Bone in rib eye was 50% fat. asparagus presentation poor. Wedge salad was a big disappointment. I won't be back here.

My wife and I visited Carmine's for the first time yesterday and had a great time. Both of us were very satisfied with our meals. We started with the lobster bites and every bite was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. For our main course we both got the scallops and they were perfect. I usually don't order scallops at restaurants because they can easily get over cooked and chewy. But, these were perfect and huge portion. They were seasoned and cooked just right. For desert I highly recommend there cheesecake. They bake that in house and I was very pleased ending with a very satisfying desert. Oh and the customer service was just right. I originally ordered a different desert and didn't care for it much so she brought me the cheesecake without me even asking or showing my dislike of the other desert...I highly recommend Carmine and hope you enjoy your visit!

Stopped here for dinner on Friday night and it was AWESOME! My server was very attentive and I couldn't have asked for better service. I was pretty famished after traveling all day and had the hardest time trying to decide what to eat, so I ordered way more than I should have. A few helpful hints: - The portions that I had for my apps and side item were HUGE! My table looked like a linebacker was eating there. The baked potato I had as the side with my steak (which was perfectly cooked by the way) was as big as my plate. - The starters/apps that I ordered (potato boats and toasted ravioli) are very large portions as well, but can be ordered on an ala carte basis (instead of a full order). Because I had a hard time deciding what I wanted, I was able to get 2 of each, and that ended up being a great portion size for me (with leftovers). Moral of the story: come hungry and plan your stomach space accordingly! If I'm ever in St Louis again, I'll be back!

Expensive but good! They have a huge range of steaks and are really well prepared. I had the 16 ounce New York and loved it. Try their creme brulee for dessert!

My wife and I passed thru St. Louis this week and on recommendation of our concierge, we spend a great evening at Carmine's! For starters, the fried ravioli was very good. We each had steak; my wife had a special topped w crabmeat that was fork tender, I had a 20oz bone-in rib eye - outstanding!! The risotto side was arguably the best I have had. The wait staff was extremely attentive without over doing it. If We ended the evening with port wine and nice conversation at the bar- great martinis FYI . If we are ever in St. Louis again, Carmine's will be our first stop!

  • Meghan M.

Carmine's was good, but I wouldn't call it great. Synopsis: - Crabmeat cocktail appetizer was so-so - Filet mignon was overcooked (came out medium when I ordered it rare) but quite tender, even so - Twice-baked potato was delicious and HUGE - Cheesecake was not good Overall, this meal was nothing memorable but we left satisfied. I'm going to take a guess that there are better steakhouses in STL so I'll continue to seek one out next time I'm in town...

Had dinner here on our first night in St Louis. Shared the toasted ravioli as an appetizer. Good stuff. The main course was a medium rare porterhouse steak for me and the rack of lamb for the little lady. Sides were four cheese potato Au gratin and a baked potato, plus the house salad. Good stuff. Finished it off with an Italian custard with fresh fruit and a rum raisin ice cream. And a cappuccino. All good. The service was very friendly and attentive. Maybe too attentive. As we fished one course, they immediately brought out the next. Fast service is normally great, but come on, gives us a little time to digest between courses.

Extremely courteous, attentive staff and decent food. For the first time in my life, I actually sent back a bottle of wine; it was their house Pinot Noir and seemed watered down. So, the food ... I am a serious carnivore and take my steak very seriously. Ordered the filet special, which had mushrooms, bacon and a fantastic sauce - it was about a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10. The au gratin potatoes were mediocre, at best. We split the chocolate cake for dessert and it was extremely rich but delicious. It would be difficult to eat the entire piece on your own. Of all the steakhouses in St. Louis, I would probably choose one of the other chains that are typically consistent in taste and options but Carmine's was a nice change.

The steak was good, not great. I had a lobster tail as well, it tasted like it had been way overcooked, and frozen for a long time prior. It was chewy and had some type of cajun spice on it that just didn't work well. The salad and house dressing was fantastic, but a little too much cheese. I had mushrooms and onions with the Steak on the side, and they tasted so bland. Some butter, salt, something would've made them so much better. The service here was absolutely fantastic, very friendly people and inviting, but I won't be back, the food just wasn't up to par. Go to Ruth's Chris a block away for a steak.

Excellent dinner. The steak was fabulous. The service was amazing. Our waiter was very attentive, and pleasant. I would highly recommend this restaurant when visiting downtown. I have heard the homemade ravioli is awesome, think I might go tonight for appetizers to check out. I'll let you know what I think.

My friend, Drew and I were just walking around minding our own business when the manager came out and invited us into the restaurant. We were in jeans, t-shirt. This place was upscale. Our server was Will. He was very knowledgeble with the menu. For the appetizer, we had scallops with carmelized onions.. GREAT. For the entrees, Drew ordered the pork chops (medium well) with au gratin potatoes. I had the pan-seared halibut with aioli sauce and risoto. The pork chops were over-cooked and the potatoes tasted like they had been sitting too long. The halibut was good but I wasn't wowed by the fish. The risoto was great. The service was great. Being satisfied was Will's (our server) goal and he accomplished that. I would go back and try their scallops as an entree or maybe their steak. Besides, it is a steakhouse. And extra points goes to the manager who came out to invite us and did not judge us on how were dressed.

A coworker had recommended that we try this place, so try we did. Toasted ravioli--Carmine's was my first, but definitely not my last. It's really fantastic here and well, you never forget your first. The steaks: very rich and I swear, it probably never touched a grill--just the way God intended. It came with a rich sauce on it that I probably would have requested on the side had I known...but I still ate the whole thing. Asparagus on the side felt like such a shame when you think about the food debauchery we had here. Vegetables had no place at that meal. Great service, decent wine list, great old-st.louis vibe. Whole meal + wine about $50/pp.

I never knew how good green beans could taste until I ordered a "vegetable medlley" side dish at Camine's. They were cooked just right.. Appetizer: portobello bruschetta - wonderful. Wondered why other places don't serve this. Entree: shrimp scampi - I squeezed some lemon juice into the melted butter and that gave the dish the little zip it needed. Service: attentive but not intrusive.

Excellent restaurant. Friendly staff, outstanding food, great ambiance. My husband and I both shared the caesar salad and potato skins. Then he ordered the filet and I had the filet with gorgonzola sauce. My very well be the best/highest quality filet I have ever had and I am a foodie, so that say's a lot. Our sides were the asparagus and mushroom risotto, both fabulous. We finished it off with the dark chocolate cake, it was like a slice of chocolate truffle. If your in St. Louis, I highly recommend you try Carmine's, you will not be disappointed.

Compared to a Ruth's Chris, Mortons, Del Frisco's, etc. Carmine's is a cut below. Given that those are all pretty high standards with which to be compared, a cut below is still 4 star worthy in my book, at least on my one and, so far, only visit. Went with a colleague for a business dinner. She had chicken which was a huge, two seared breast affair. She said it was good but that her mushroom risotto as a side was really, really good. I had just had a couple steak dinners in Vegas so, opted for the Shrimp Scampi at Carmines's. It was 5 large, butterflied shrimp that had been broiled with olive oil and garlic and came with a fairly tasting garlic butter to dip them in. The shrimp were a firm, nice texture but lacked a bit of flavor and the garlic butter was ok but needed a bit of acid. A squeeze of lemon helped a great deal. I had a quite tasty Caesar salad to start and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Neither of us had dessert so, no help for you sweet tooth's out there. All in, I'd go back. Would like to try a steak next visit.

The twice baked potato was my favorite part of this meal - it's about the size of an NFL regulation football. Unfortunately, my fillet was cooked to medium-well and I asked for medium-rare. Being the type of person who doesn't send food back, I still ate it. The Gorgonzola sauce was outstanding and covered up the lack of blood on my plate. I wanted to rate Carmine's a 4, but just couldn't do it with an overcooked steak. Next time, Carmine's. Next time.

    (3)
  • Laura G.

"I've had better" is how I would describe this place. The appetizers were alright. The caesar salad had an oddly sweet dressing, which was not described by the server. Although she did ask if I wanted the anchovies on it, which I appreciated. My filet was overcooked. Asked for Medium and got Medium well. It's not Applebee's-- it's a steak house. Cook the steaks as ordered, please. Probably not coming back.

I really want to give this 4 1/2 but yelp doesn't have that option but I just can't give it a 5. Here's the deal. My husband and I went for our anniversary. When we arrived the host greeted, took our coats, and seated us immediately. The server was attentive without being overbearing. The manager (I'm assuming) made a few recommendations and checked on us to make sure his recommendations were satisfying to us. The staff could not be beat. We ordered ravioli and steakhouse skins for appetizers. I love that they let you order as many as you want. We had 1 ravioli and 1 skin for each of us. Perfect amount. 5 of each would have been way too many. So if you want to try a few appetizers, you can certainly do so. Then we each had the Caesar salad. Excellent. Homemade dressing that has the perfect tang. The bread (obviously not made in the restaurant) was also excellent. Then came the steaks. I would have liked a smaller cut of meat because 14 ounce is just too big for me. But I do not like filet mignon, too thick for my taste. So I had the 14 ounce strip. My husband had the bone-in ribeye. Fantastic. Great flavor. Seasoned perfectly so you could still taste the beef. Carmine's doesn't just add sauce to their steaks to mask the sub-par cuts. Mine was a little undercooked but the server saw it immediately when I cut into the steak and he took it back to the kitchen. He offered to have my side dish replaced so it was hot when my steak came out. I declined because I ate it while I waited for my steak. Well worth the wait. My husband had the twice baked potato and I had the mushroom risotto. Believe the other reviewers when they say it's the size of a regulation football. The potato is huge. It tasted like cheesy bacon goodness. If the mushroom risotto wasn't fantastic, I would have wanted to switch. The risotto was top notch. Then to the dessert. I ordered the vanilla caramel cake and my husband ordered the triple chocolate. They were ok. Mine tasted like it had been frozen a little too long. That's the ONLY negative I can say about the entire meal. I would not order the dessert again. If you have to bring in frozen desserts, don't offer them at all. Do your thing and do it well. If you can't cover all aspects of it flawlessly, then don't do it. Our bill was $130 for the two of us. That includes a few cocktails. So it is a little on the expensive side but it was worth it. When we stopped at the coat check to pick up our coats, I saw the valet take off running down the sidewalk. By the time we had our coat and were walking outside, he had our car pulled up and ready. The heat was on high, seats were warming, perfect. Could not have asked for better service. The reviews where people complain about every aspect, they are whiners. If you can't come up with anything positive about Carmine's, they are whiners that can not be satisfied.

What a great place! Service was outstanding as was the food. Made a reservation using the online reservation system offered here on Yelp. Worked without any hitches nice feature. I hope more places will use it. This is a very affordable steak house. The entrees all include salad and vegetable plus the 21 day aged meat. So $35 for a steak and a salad and veggie is a great price. We started of with the toasted ravioli. The Lombardo's really have the best toasted ravs in the city. The sauce was as good as the ravs. I had the bone in rib eye, the wife had the fillet, and the famous Chip K had the NY Strip. All steaks cooked as ordered and came out fast. My side order was green beans. Sounds boring and I really expected nothing special. Wrong. The beans were cooked with some garlic. I know this is going to sound dumb but I think they were the best green beans I have ever had. The food came out fast but we had a 5:30 reservation so I assume we were among the first for the kitchen. We were in and out in an hour. Fast for fine dinning. As we were leaving the place was filling up fast. In summary this is a great value and great food.

Went here for a quick dinner since it was near my hotel. To be honest, it was kind of a disappointment. Pros: very friendly staff, convenient location, tasty mushroom risotto Cons: the basil gravy on top of the mashed potatoes (special side for the day) wasn't just kind of meh... it was inedible, medicine-tasting, without basil; the steak special that day came with marsala sauce that tasted like it was out of a can; the chicken was severely overcooked Overall, not enough pros to balance out the cons. Will not return there.

Went here with my fiancee for Valentine's Day. The atmosphere is good, and the staff is friendly. We had the toasted ravioli for an appetizer, and it was good. According to everyone we talk to, toasted ravioli is a STL tradition, but I don't see what's so amazing about it. Good, but not amazing. For entrees, we both had 10-oz. filets. She ordered medium, and I ordered medium-rare. Both were overcooked. It still tasted good, but not great. We shared the tiramisu for dessert. Now THAT was good. I give this 3 stars for the overall ambiance and the dessert, but the steak left much to be desired, especially for the price.

I've lived in the STL for almost three years and this is the nicest restaurant I've ever been to in the whole area. From top to bottom, start to finish, Carmine's is a class act. Upon entry: coatcheck and waitstaff to welcome you. Upon seating: large menus are presented, as is an excellent wine list. Here I would like to make a special comment on the menus: some "fancy" restaurants take a minimalist approach to their menus. Not so with Carmine's, there's plenty to choose from. Upon dining: the service is spot-on throughout the entire meal experience. And the food is outstanding! Upon dessert: if you have room, an array of delicious indulgences are trotted out to tempt you. Upon paying: heads up! I hope I have an excuse to revisit sometime soon!

I give 4 stars for three very simple reasons: 1) this place has the best t-ravs I've ever had in my life; 2) it is walking distance from Busch Stadium; and 3) if you get an appetizer and a drink before a Cardinals game, they will still valet your car the entire time for free. I've been here a number of times to pre-game for the Cardinals, as well as for the full on meal. The staff has always been very professional and courteous with me. Food comes out promptly and they occasionally have unique local and Chicago area beers on tap. Food-wise, I recommend going with a steak or other entree not breaded or without any of the sauces. In my experience, it just kills the flavor of the food underneath because both of these things are done fairly heavy-handed here. The steak itself though, every time I have had it, has been pretty darn good.

Stayed at the Drury which is seemingly attached to the restaurant but there is no relationship between the two i.e. room service.. The place was just okay, it didn't amaze me by any means and I would certainly eat here again. I ate here two consecutive nights and tried both the house salad and spinach-- they are underwhelming and dated, need some wok.. The steak was just okay as well as the toasted ravioli.. I ate at the bar at both nights my service was splendid.. I think the décor is dated as well...

Really want to give 5 stars but it's not quite there. 4.5 maybe. I've had better but this is a top notch meal. Service was outstanding. Looks like they need some business though. Went on the day of the St Pat's parade downtown and while we had made reservations, didn't look like we needed them. As for the food, had the toasted ravs based on the numerous glowing reviews. They were right. Simply outstanding, some of the best I've ever had, and I've had plenty. The texture was different than usual, in a good way. Had a Caesar salad. Loved the dressing. The only thing I didn't like was the lettuce seemed to be chopped up a bit to finely. Nonetheless, great salad. Ordered a petite filet, medium rare. Came out perfect. I'm not sure how they seasoned it but it was deeeelish. The missus had one too and agreed it tasted unique and wonderful. Her steak was maybe half a level more done than she requested but she would rather it be more done than less. The twice baked potato was terrific. I could only eat half after all the other food I mentioned. The bread basket lacked character. This is a great, reasonably priced (for an upscale steak house) place and without a doubt I'll return. If i want to be persnickety about one thing, I would suggest they use white tablecloths.

I have had two really good experiences at Carmine's this summer. The first I had the filet, and was really pleased with how it was cooked. It was tasty. This time, was for downtown restaurant week, and I was disappointed the filet was not on the special menu, so I tried the ribeye instead. I'm usually not a ribeye girl, but it was really good! The potatoes au gratin were awesome. Everything was cooked just how we ordered, the steak was juicy and flavorful. Mmmm....I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! I also tried the chicken and the mushroom risotto, which were both excellent. The cheesecake wasn't fantastic, but it was a nice ending to a good meal. We will definitely keep Carmine's in mind when we want to venture downtown for a steak.

Recently dined at Carmine's Steakhouse with a group of about 30 people. Food was very good as was service. Disturbing was a cockroach crawling across one of the tables before the entre. Two guests saw it and disposed of it before other guests could notice and have their dinners ruined. We did not make a scene but brought this to the staff and manager's attention afterwards. We were not expecting much but hoped for some small consideration. No adjustment or consideration was made. Carmine's even charged us for the sitting of two guests who were unable to make the dinner but included in the reservation. Our group will never return or recommend Carmine's Steakhouse in Saint Louis.

This is a very solid "three star" review. If Yelp allowed you to give half-star reviews, I would have definitely bumped it up to 3.5 stars. Alas, they don't. In most cases, I would round a 3.5 star review up to 4 stars, but I have a specific reason why I'm not going to: The two best steaks I've ever had were at Bob's Steakhouse in Dallas, and Kreis' Steakhouse in St. Louis. (I'm admittedly not that well-traveled in the world of steakhouses.) I gave both of those restaurants four stars, rather than five, because I didn't like the side items that I got with my entrees. Maybe that's me being picky. I didn't feel that Carmine's was in the same league as either Bob's or Kreis', so I feel that giving Carmine's four stars would be unfair to the other two restaurants. Anyway. Now that I've gotten that out of the way: We started off with their toasted raviolis which, like the ones they serve at their sister restaurant Lombardo's, are pretty huge. They even tempted my no-carb father to try a couple; they were enjoyed by all. A nice thing about Carmine's is that in the price of your entree, you get a salad and a side item. Most fancy steakhouses are strictly a la carte, or at best give you a side and no salad. This makes the prices, which may seem high at first, pretty reasonable for a higher-end steakhouse. I ordered the tomato salad (which was their daily special), which came with three gigantic tomato slices, some slices of buffalo mozzarella (imagining someone trying to milk a buffalo leaves a funny picture in my head), some greens, and a bit of bleu cheese. The salad was pretty good, but I'm almost sure the tomatoes weren't sourced by someone who offers "home grown" tomatoes, because they definitely didn't have that juiciness that comes with the home grown variety. I ordered the 14 oz New York Strip steak (which was the smallest of three strips they offer). Cool people like myself know that you should never order a nice steak more done than medium-rare, which is how I ordered it. However, it definitely came out in the "medium" category. I didn't send it back, because I'm not going to nitpick with the waiter over the doneness of a steak (unless they really screw it up). The steak was good, but as I mentioned before, doesn't put Carmine's in the same league as other steakhouses I've visited. For the side, I had mushroom risotto, which was tasty (although maybe a little on the dry side, but oh well). All in all, a solid experience. Not the absolute best steak I've tasted, but better than a chain restaurant for sure.

Have again: the filet mignon and twice-cooked potato were good (3 stars) but the service was outstanding; hence, 4 stars.

I was in town for a week long conference and Carmine's was next door to my hotel. I left Carmine's as my last outing of the week... I was not disappointed!! The food was FANTASTIC and the service was impeccable! I had the toasted ravioli, amazing, the Cesar salad, blew my pants off, and the Italian pepperloin, WOW!!!! I topped off the night with their tiramisu, holy moly it was the best meal I had all week. Words cannot describe the amazing service and the food well... I can die happy now!!! If you are in downtown St. Louis stop by and give Carmine's a try you will be forever grateful you did.

I had the New Zealand Rack of Lamb. It came with a Zinfandel glaze and another glaze. The lamb was delicately cooked, tender, moist and the sauces were delectable. My co-worker had the Shrimp Marie, which he was kind enough to let me sample. The shrimp were large and well-cooked, however the spices, peppers and sauce of the dish made it taste eerily similar to Chinese sweet & sour sauce. My co-worker and I both concluded that $22 was too much to pay for sweet & sour shrimp. The decor was light, yet refined. Our waiter was a little stuffy and his New York accent added to the steakhouse ambience. It is a little pricey for a business dinner, so be sure to consult the online menu before you go. New Zealand Rack of Lamb= HEAVEN SHRIMP MARIE= FAIL but I'm still a fan ;)

When I travel to St. Louis, this is one of my regular spots! I always sit in the bar and love all the folks who work there from Mike Lombardo, Jason, Shelly and the wonderful Mary! It's just comfortable here. The restaurant is more of an Italian Steakhouse. The Lombardo's are well known for their plethora of high quality dining venues. Carmines does not have specials. They just don't do that. However, you will receive some fresh unique fare and a few of the other items that their other restaurants are know for...toasted ravioli, anyone!!!??? My suggestions are: Shrimp Brendini, Shrimp Marie, Chicken Gorgonzola, Italian Pepperloin and a plethora of steak choices, obviously. I really have not experienced any issues here with the food. The Caesar may throw you a curve ball. It is slightly sweet and not typical for a Caesar dressing. However, as many times as I try not to order it, I do. Prices are reasonable as they average $18-24 for non steak entrees. they have a sandwich menu and the Gorgonzola Burger is delish!! The steaks can be a little pricey starting at $29 and heading up the ladder to $55 for a 28oz NY Strip. For St. Louis, this is average for a high quality meal in an upscale setting. Well, upscale especially if you sit in the dining room. I like the comfort again at the bar. Great spot for business folks and travelers as well. I wish that they were open for lunch! A great experience and one of my favorites, check it out and let me know what you think! southbendfoodies.com Chow!

We visited Carmine's on our anniversary and were very impressed. Our server was top notch. I've never had better service anywhere. He was very attentive, offered great suggestions, and even asked if we were celebrating something and when we responded with our anniversary he brought us free dessert. My husband ordered the rack of lamb and it is by far the best I have ever had. Very tender and flavorful. I ordered their fish special. It was good, but not as good as the lamb. I still wish I would have ordered a steak since they are a steak house, but that just gives us another reason to go back!

most of the food is good, but wheb it comes bad, you cannot stand. I thought it was good until I got my entree, they put a used lemon in my lobster, I love seafood with lemon, but I couldn't squeeze a single drop from the lemon I had!!! the worst thing was the waitress and the store manager lied to me, they said it was a fresh cut, f... u, I don't suggest anybody go here.

Seems a bit like a good 'ol boys restaurant - though not as bad as others I've been to. Started w a house salad - disappointed by the canned olives (why would any nice restaurant use canned anything?!). I asked for no onions and had to pick them off, oh well (seems to happen in most restaurants) Otherwise the salad was fine. Asked for the filet as medium rare - I got medium, which was fine but thank goodness I asked for medium rare. The edges were a bit dry but the inside was luscious and melted in my mouth. It was a nice thick slice unlike some places I've been. Was disappointed that there was only one vegetable side option, but the snap peas were delicious and cooked nicely. Servers were very nice friendly and attentive. I'd come back - now that I know how to ask for what I want here.

Second time here and when I'm back in St. Louis will go again. Best most tender steaks ever! They could cut down on sauces on other menu items, on a special diet sauces are not allowed-even though they all sounded delicious,

Had the buffalo mozzarella... Was pretty light on the mozzarella so tasted more of the breading than I wanted to. House salads were alright. My husband felt they were a bit light on the Italian dressing. I had the chicken modega. It was good but not what I expected from the description. It came with a mushroom risotto which had a good flavor but was slightly undercooked. My husband had the filet which melted in your mouth... Excellent!

Wasn't sure where to go in St. Louis. I had been to the Carmine's in NY (which was FABULOUS) so I figured I would try this spot out. NOT the same restaurant. Steakhouse. Atmosphere was dark and uninteresting. I sat at the bar, which had alot of individuals dining at with constant distractions. The bartender was really nice and attentive. I had the 8oz. filet mignon with a caesar salad. I had a glass of the pinor noir (the only one you can order by the glass) fantastic wine! Steak was tender and juicy on the inside and charred/crusty on the outside. not impressed with the lack of sauce/garnishes on the plate. The caesar salad was phenominal, would highly recommend. I had a twice baked potato as my side, and wasn't impressed. Overall, really nice restaurant, would come back!

I liked my Filet Mignon and baked potato. Good selection of cuts. The atmosphere is great and the location is near the Arch, the Convention Center and Busch Stadium. For someone visiting from out-of-town, I would recommend Carmine's. I finished up with a light dessert and a glass of scotch. A nice evening overall. I recommend making a reservation if a convention is in town.

Jambalaya soup - Yummy!!! It had just the right amount of kick/spiciness, rice and sausage. Full of flavor and I finished the whole bowl! My 4 stars are mainly for this soup!!! Spinochi Scallops - I know this is a steak house, but I really felt like eating scallops. I read something about bacon in the description, so how can I pass that up? It came with I think 6 good sized scallops surrounding a bed of spinach. They were good but I think I was so satisfied with the Jambalaya Soup, that I could barely eat the scallops. Brussel Sprouts - I'm usually not a fan of brussel sprouts, but I ordered these because I trusted our server and he said they are good ..and I think he said something about them being cooked with bacon. I'm glad I trusted him because they were delish!

The steaks and sides were pretty good, but the service I received was not that great for a "high-scale" steak house. Carmine's is a little more affordable than the traditional steakhouses because a salad and a side are included with your steak. Our waiter seemed sort of like a space cadet. First, he forgot to give us our menus. I asked him about 20 minutes after we were seated for a menu. Second, he wasn't sure what beers were on tap. Then he stated that they had Guiness and Blue Moon on tap. That didn't seem right to me, only two beers and at that, those two beers? I looked around at other tables and saw people drinking pints of an amber colored beer. Anyways, it was a little strange and it seemed like the waiter was just trying to cover himself over something that isn't a big deal. He could have just found out for us and that would have been that. Overall, my experience at Carmine's was good and would recommend it for someone looking for fine steak dining that's a little more affordable than the big chains like Ruth Chris or Morton's.

This is a brief review but let me say my meal at Carmine's was excellent. I get to a lot of steakhouses - nice steak houses - and this place did not disappoint. The only part of my meal that was 'average' were the dinner rolls - they were just normal typical fare. I was disappointed to the extent that we didn't have time for an elegant meal and so were rather rushed to get through, but that was our own fault. Service was excellent. I had some crab legs with my steak and short while later a gentleman from the kitchen brought me some more, telling me that it didn't look like I was given enough.

Spent the weekend in St Louis this past week and my fiance and I were looking for a nice place to eat. We were referred to Carmine's and after being seated I was anxious that we were in the wrong place. I checked yelp and found several great reviews. The reviews were 100% right on!!!! Our server was awesome - friendly and knowledgable....ask for Nichole. We had martinis which were awesome and then had the toasted ravioli as an appetizer....OMG it was wonderful. I truly suggest that to anyone that wants to eat there. We both had steaks and added a shrimp scampi with salad and twice baked potato. Every single thing we had was fantastic! If you haven't been....you need to go stat!!!

There are steak houses and STEAK HOUSES. This is the latter. Order any steak and you get a dollop of garlic butter. Asking for sauce is a no-no, since the steak is tender, juicy and rich. Whoever does their purchasing is a true connoisseur. However, I suggest browsing the appetizer menu. Their toasted ravioli are home made, and absolutely amazing! They're filled with a good amount of meat, cheese and spices. It definitely beats the pre-packaged t-ravs you get at most STL restaurants, even the good ones. Parking here kind of stinks, since you have the option of parking on the street, or using their valet service. But going here is well worth it, even during Cardinals games.

Fantastic crab cakes! They also have the best rack of lamb i have ever had with the zinfandel glaze and mint jelly.... mmmmmm! A little on the pricey side, though.. average per person is at least 40 bucks.

My wife and I enjoyed a very nice dinner. Excellent service, Pork Chops and Steaks were excellent with good bread, salads and sides. Priced well for the level of service and quality of food. Free valet parking, an excellent choice close to the Arch. We would return.

Amazing in all categories. My boyfriend took me here on our first date and ever since, we have been going to celebrate our anniversary and other special occasions. The service here is impeccable and we are treating like guests of honor every time we sit down for a meal here. Their wine list is extensive and the friendly and warm staff is never hesitant to answer any questions you may have or make any recommendations. You must try the toasted ravioli. They are the best kept secret in St. Louis and absolutely melt-in-your-mouth good. As for the entrees, every steak cut on the menu is delicious and cooked just the way you want it. The side orders are amazing and my personal favorites are the mushroom risotto as well as the twice-baked potato. We once came here and asked for a special that wasn't on the menu (crab stuffed prawns - amazing) and the staff gladly made it for us. The lobster tail is also ridiculously perfect as it comes with a small bowl with melted butter over a candle flame to keep it warm. It may be hard to save room for dessert but you have to make an effort because the dessert are as good or even better than the main course. I'd recommend the cheesecake, the white chocolate mousse, and the double chocolate cake. You will walk out of this place with full bellies and smiling faces guaranteed!

Service: Quite good. Very attentive. No worries there. Atmosphere: Upscale dining, however you don't feel like you need to be wearing a suit and tie. Dressy but not too snooty feeling. Food: The steak was flavorful and cooked a nice medium rare. It was a bit sinewy however. Just wasn't as tender as I would have liked. The Ruth Criss up the street has the best steaks in St. Louis. A bit more expensive however. It was not up to that level, but still a decent value for what was received. Overall, I would go back there again. The steaks were good, but not perfect. However, the service was really good and the place is nice. Its about 2/3rd the cost of Ruth Cris, which isn't a bad value for the quality. Expect about $50 per person not including alcohol. That does include salad and a side.

Holy crap expensive. We're driving through St. Louis and my friend goes "Oh Carmine's they are good" so we pull over. First off the Valet was free for the restaurant (first hint) and we roll up in there with shorts, and we're all dusty from our road trip. Wind blown hair, cameras on our hip and we sit down in the single fanciest restaurant in the mid west. I will say the food was really really good. This particular road trip we were dirt poor so we both tried to figure out the cheapest thing on the menu, which was very difficult. For two people I think our bill came to just shy of $70. It was one of those places that we walked right into and couldn't get away from. It was especially awkward because when we got there the place was empty and then the dinner rush came in and it was all business men in business suits in business meetings and we were sitting right at the front of the restaurant, you literately had to walk around these dusty out of town kids with pennies in their wallet to get to your seat. Awkward.

Eh. Visited Carmine's on a weekend trip to Missouri after reading the its reviews on Yelp. Can't say I had the same experience as other yelpers this time around... While the service was spot-on (I don't think my water glass was ever less than 3/4 full), the quality of food just didn't meet my "steakhouse" expectations. My brother had the porterhouse. I tried the seafood special - prawns stuffed with crab and grilled. There really wasn't anything "special" about my meal or the risotto it was served with. Both were bland. My bad I suppose for ordering seafood in a restaurant known for steaks, although my brother's medium steak came out practically bleeding and was sent back for a second round on the grill. One positive... the toasted ravioli. Yummm! Wish I had just ordered a second plate for dinner.

Every time me and my husband crave an amazing steak (which is becoming monthly), we go to Carmine's. You get a salad and a side with your steak. I always get the mushroom risotto and it tastes superb!! Carmine's is much cheaper than other steakhouses I've been to. Service is attentive. Only con is the cig. smoke from the bar area.

Our first impression was when our taxi pulled up and we looked inside the restaurant and had to ask if it was open since we didn't see one person inside eating dinner. The flicker of a TV screen by the bar and of the candles on the tables was our only clue until we saw a staff person walk by. We were greeted, and when I asked the host where the washroom was, he cracked some joke about the nearest one being by the stadium, and then walked away, never actually telling me WHERE i could wash up before dinner... Our water wasn't bad, except for asking us questions from a few tables away instead of coming to our table, and messing up our appetizers - twice. If the service wasn't substandard enough (especially for a restaurant with a price tag and ambiance like Carmine's) the food left MUCH to be desired. Our two hot appetizers came out at room temperature and when we explained that they weren't that great and no, we didn't want to mess with the steak timing by getting fresh ones, they took away our plates, and left them on the bill. The salad wasn't bad, and the steak was actually pretty good, which may have been the only two redeeming qualities. Someone swung by the table to ask how the steaks were, but not about anything else, and they cleared away one of our plates while the other person was still eating. We were still working on our wine when the dessert plate was brought over, and when we decided we didn't want dessert, coffee wasn't offered, and while were finishing a glass of wine, the check was brought over without any offer of coffee or anything else. Overall, I'd rate the ambiance a 4, the food a 2 and the service a 2. Would I go back there every again? Not a chance.

I love that Lombardo's and Lombardo's Trattoria are owned by the same people but they don't feature the same menus, very refreshing. Lombardo's Restaurant is located out by the airport, perfect for when you've just picked up a friend and want to have a nice dinner (who isn't hungry after a flight?). The prices here a little more expensive that Trattoria, but the food is good, the restaurant is elegant, and the wait staff is good. I love the tortellini here; the pesto cream sauce is very good.

oh my god, where do i begin? carmine's is a great family joint with more "upscale" seating upstairs. the lower floor has sports on tv, and a main bar so you will be entertained while you wait for your table. the upstairs area has booths and smaller tables (great for a date) where you will begin your salivation as you flip through the menu. can't decide what you want? let me make it simple. BEER BATTERED PRAWNS! let me belabor this point. shrimp with a dipping remoulade and cocktail sauce will only wet your appetite for more food. at this point, you get one of the best cuts of steak they serve. this will not be a cheap night out, but it's sooooooooo worth it!

First I must say the food was excellent. The gorganzola filet with wine sauce was truly outstanding. My primary complaint was with the service. I was staying the week at the hotel next door and had dinner at Carmine's 3 times. I finally came to the conclusion that management has trained the waiters to rush the service in order to turn the tables as frequently as possible. Each night I dined with work associates and throughout the meals the waiters kept trying to take away plates too soon. It became difficult to have a relaxing dinner and constantly felt rushed. On the 3rd night we spoke to the owner and it was clear that he did not want to take our complaint seriously and issued a very insincere apology. In the end, he paid for our meals . All of us at the table would have preferred that he would have acted more humble and treat us with more respect. We were not looking for a free meal. It was a company expense anyway. We can only hope that he might think about what we told him. We were most sincere and not trying to be difficult. In his mind we were wrong and he was right. All of the waiters I saw looked and acted somewhat inexperienced. I suspect that mature professional waiters would not get along with the owner very well. He seemed like a hot head and is probably difficult to work for.

Nice Steakhouse in St. Louis. We went here for a client dinner and was pleasantly surprised. You get a nice view of the arch on the way in to the restaurant as well. The Apps were OK. We ended up getting the Carmine's trio (crab cakes, scallops and toasted ravioli). Crab cakes were above average. The scallops were a little saccharine for my tastes but the ravioli was good; and let's face it...one doesn't come to St. Louis for the scallops. Thankfully the filet mignon was exceptional. It was the perfect size, not too salty and rare just like I had requested. This was partnered with an above average wine list to make a great night out.

We were at the Drury for a conference all week and ate here on a Tuesday night around 7pm. Needless to say it was a mixed review from the 5 of us present. Two had steak, one had toasted ravioli and two had seafood. The steaks got a solid thumbs up, the toasted ravioli was better than anticipated but he wouldn't order it again. The seafood was disappointing to both of us gals. I sent my shrimp/crab back - the shrimp was overcooked, rubbery and the crab was cold. I was not interested in a repeat of it so I asked if I could have the crabcakes instead since they looked good on the other gal's plate. Well, they were disappointing too...drowned in aioli sauce. I don't think anyone ate the vegetables that night it was some kind of corn with red peppers and a sauce that overwhelmed the corn. The wine we ordered on the advice of our waiter was divine! We tried two different kinds with our meal. We passed on dessert as it was getting late and quite honestly were worried how long it would take to get considering it took over 30 mins for them to get our order taken from the time we sat down and it was almost 45 mins waiting after that to get our food. The resturant was not full and a group of 10 people should have not delayed orders for that long. I'm pretty sure that part of the reason my shrimp was rubbery was because it sat on a warming tray/light for awhile. In retrospect considering what we paid, the time it took to get our meals and the overal experience it was quite disappointing and we didn't recommend them when others asked. I wouldn't go back again.

I was visiting my girlfriend in St. Louis, and we wanted to try something new and different so we picked something random on Yelp and let me tell you. we got really lucky! This place was simply amazing! From the moment we walked in, it had that classic upscale Italian feel. We were hesitant at first because the place was pretty empty and the people that were there were of an older age. We got seated right away, and i think was made our night was our server. I dont remember his name, but he was the type of server you hope for. He knew everything on the menu and was extremely helpful in picking out our food choices. At the time, my girlfriend was a vegetarian and there wasn't much on the menu for her to eat. Our waiter told us not to worry, he asked us for some suggestions of what she would like, what kind of ingredients etc and it came out amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone and if you don't like anything on the menu, let them know, the chefs will whip something up to your liking.

Tucked in the Drury Plaza ( my hotel of choice) by the arch, Carmine's is a part of the Lombardo's family of restaurants. I will start by saying that the food was really good, but by itself more like a four. What shot this up to a five was the service. Our server had the perfect balance of quality service, knowledge of food preparation, and out of the way when not needed. At the same time, he made it feel like we were VIP's seated in his private dining room. Had the toasted ravioli for appetizer, again very good. Entree was a petite filet mignonette served with their bacon mashed potatoes. Good portion size. My dinner party had some of the seafood options. Would definitely go back.

Camine's is part of the Lombardo family group of restaurants. It is located in the Drury Plaza Hotel right near the Gateway Arch, Kiener Plaza and Busch Stadium. I tried Carmine's for the first time a few weeks ago. If I could give Carmine's 3.5 stars I would. Here are the positives: -Lombardo's toasted ravs. Simply the best in St. Louis -Generally speaking the food is above average -Very friendly and attentive bartender -Great location -Reasonable prices considering you receive a salad and a side dish with your entree unlike Mike Shannon's, Ruth's Chris, etc. The negatives: -The atmosphere does its best to remind you that you are in a restaurant inside a Drury Inn. Drury Inn carpet, Drury Inn walls. Lombardo's in the Union Station Drury Inn has a superior ambiance. The difference is that at Lombaro's you will forget that you are in a Drury Inn(until you have to go upstairs to the restrooms in the hotel lobby). -There are better steaks to be found elsewhere in the city, not that my steak was bad by any means. Just not the best of the best. -The servers and bussers were quite stiff and on top of us a little more than we would've liked. In retrospect, I think that I would have enjoyed Carmine's more if my friends and I had remained bellied-up to the bar and stuck with the awesome toasted raviolis and maybe some pasta.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
